Online Group Classes
In addition to one-to-one lessons, I also run weekly group classes via zoom. All classes are taught by ear, with sheet music and recordings provided afterwards.

Teaching
Rua currently holds posts as a fiddle tutor at the Glasgow Fiddle Workshop, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and Youth Music Initiative projects throughout Stirlingshire, teaching fiddle, group work and musicianship to students of all ages and abilities, in addition to his private teaching. As a member of Blazin' Fiddles, Rua help coordinate their annual winter school, Blazin' in Beauly.
As part of his B.A.Hons (Scottish Music), Rua undertook a teaching elective module, which included practical experience in a range of environments including Special Education Needs.
Rua holds a current Enhanced Disclosure Scotland Certificate, as well as a Musician’s Union Certificate in Child Safety and Awareness.
In addition to performing, Rua is in great demand for leading workshops and classes, having taught at various festivals and courses including:
